COVID-19 Announcement

AdvanTec is committed to ensuring and supporting the well-being and safety of our team members, customers and the communities we operate in.

As we continue to respond, all AdvanTec facilities are continuing to produce product. Plans are in place to leverage our multiple manufacturing facilities to mitigate any issues that may arise so we can continue to meet deadlines and expectations.

We feel it important to communicate our plans and current status with our partners regarding the recent outbreak of COVID-19. We take any risk to our team and customers very seriously and would like to provide the following updates:

  • AdvanTec currently is producing orders on time with many orders being shipped early. We presently see no contraints with production of orders to our valued customers. We cast our own aluminum hatches and produce most parts within North America reducing any supply issues from offshore vendors.

  • The AdvanTec Safety team has already communicated and trained internally to our current protocols that match those recommended by WHO, CDC & Public Health Agency of Canada. We have adopted all recommended measures and will react to any additional changes as they become available.

  • Our HR/Safety team has developed an “Emergency Response Plan” in the case of a positive incident at one of our facilities. Communication/training with all staff on symptoms and early detection is being conducted on an ongoing basis.

  • All facets of our business procurement and manufacturing are being reviewed for possible longer-term challenges. Where required, additional stock is being ordered and safety stock levels are being increased. Currently we see no major issues as most of our parts and supplies are proudly procured in North America.

  • We are communicating regularly with ownership and banking partners and have their full support should we require additional funding to make larger purchases of materials or parts.

It is imperative that we all look for ways to not only protect ourselves but also to continue to work together and produce product during the next few months. We look forward to working with all our partners to ensure we continue to stay productive during these uncertain times. We will continue to communicate with our valued customers and vendors as conditions are fluid and may change.
